For executives and board members
You were appointed for your judgement. Few outside the company have seen it.
We help senior leaders become known beyond their own organisation, in a way that is calm, accurate and approved.
A company's reputation is its leaders' reputation
Customers, regulators, candidates and partners form a view of a company partly from the people who run it. When those people are respected inside the industry but unknown outside it, the company is harder to introduce and harder to recommend.
Visibility for a senior leader is different from visibility for a founder. You have a board, an employer and often a communications team. You cannot say everything, and you should not. We design around that.
Quiet visibility
Most executives we speak with do not want to be influencers. They want to be easy to place. That means a clear account of what they stand for, a short list of topics where their voice is credible, and a presence that matches.
We call this quiet visibility. It relies on fewer, better moments: a considered panel, a profile that reads well, a byline, a quote that is accurate and yours.
- In the room: boardrooms, industry forums, regulator and partner meetings, and how you are introduced there
- On the record: profiles, bylines, quotations and a page that explains who you are
- On screen: a light, steady LinkedIn presence in your own voice, if you want one
Board and non-executive roles
Conversations about board seats often happen before anything is public. A nomination committee or a search adviser will look for a clear account of what you bring: your sectors, your judgement, the kind of problem you help solve.
We help you write that account, check what a search currently shows about you, and plan how you are introduced to the people who make those decisions.
Working with your employer, not around it
At the start we ask who must approve what. That may be a communications team, a general counsel or a chair. We agree a simple process and keep to it.
We do not publish anything that discloses company information. We do not write opinions on your current employer unless you and your employer approve. We never publish in your name without your written approval.
Confidential from the first message
Every engagement starts under an NDA, signed before you describe the brief. If you want your assistant to manage scheduling, that is fine. We ask that confidential material is shared only after the NDA is in place.
What we will not do
Visibility for a senior leader has more ways to go wrong than for a founder. We guard against them.
- Publish opinions about your employer, your board or your colleagues
- Share company information, even in passing
- Post or quote in your name without your written approval
- Push you into a presence you do not want
What we need from you
A frank first conversation, a few hours of your attention at the points where your voice is needed, and clear answers on what you can and cannot say. We agree the time needed in the scope, and we keep it as light as the work allows.
How to start
Message our team with your role and what you would like to be known for. You do not need to share anything confidential at this stage. We listen first, then confirm scope, timing and price in writing before you commit.
Questions people ask us
Do I need my employer's permission?
It depends on your contract and your role. We ask at the start who must approve, and we do not publish anything that needs approval you do not have.
Can my assistant be our contact?
Yes, for scheduling and logistics. Please share confidential material only after the NDA is signed.
I am about to change roles. Can we start now?
Yes. We can work privately on your story and message under the NDA, and you decide when anything becomes public.
Do you work with several leaders at one company?
We can discuss it. We would agree in writing how to work with each person separately and as a team. Tell us who is involved.
Do I have to be on social media?
No. Some leaders choose a light LinkedIn presence. Others prefer the room and the record only. We start from what suits you.
